Monitoring of Organic Pollutants in Aquatic Ecosystems

Within the third work package, advanced sensor materials specialized for the detection of a wide range of organic pollutants, such as pharmaceuticals, disinfectants, and surfactants, are being developed. The focus is on creating high-sensitivity electrodes capable of real-time monitoring of harmful substances in wastewater and surface waters. This directly contributes to the protection of water resources, which are increasingly under pressure from modern industrial and urban challenges.
